If the skip you are hiring is going to be located on a public highway (which includes pavements, roads and verges) you must have a skip permit in place before delivery to site.
The normal cost of a skip permits is between £25 – £30 and we will arrange this for you if required. You do not need skip lights & permit if the skip is placed on private land (driveways, gardens etc.) with the owners consent.
Additionally, if your skip is to be placed on a public highway you must have skip lights attached to it so it can be clearly seen. This is a Health and Safety legislation requirement and we can arrange a pair of bespoke, secure skip lights at an additional one off payment of £24 (inclusive of VAT).
